Just after 4/20 is the Global Marijuana March, held this year on Saturday May 5th. Jodie will be in Toronto to join in there as she has every year since 2006 (usually with Marc, of course), but look online and in your community for info, or start your own march. International private for-profit prison company GEO Group, which runs many of the horrible private prisons in the US, is lobbying hard to open up for business in Canada. Write to your MP and tell them you do not want them here to trade Canadian citizens as prison products on the stock market!

With 845 days left before Marc's early release date of July 9, 2014, Jodie shows us the poster from Marc's latest performance with his prison band "Yazoo". She tells viewers about "Hempology 101", a free university study course created and taught at the University of Victoria by long-time and very dedicated cannabis activist Ted Smith.

Jodie had the pleasure of speaking at the 2nd Annual Cannabis Convention held March 4th in Vancouver at the University of British Columbia along with Chris Bennett, Randy Caine and Dr. Paul Hornby. The federal Liberal Party of Canada's Vancouver East Association has asked Jodie to speak at a meeting they are having about cannabis. That's coming up in Vancouver on March 31st. Marc has passed the halfway point in his prison sentence, with now only 894 days left to go. Jodie talks about Marc's band "Yazoo" and how they have been chosen to play for an official Accreditation visit to the prison.

The Liberal Party of Canada has resolved to end the war on cannabis, and the president and vice president of the Vancouver East EDA met with Jodie to discuss future efforts. She is also meeting with Bob Rae, leader of the Federal Liberal Party, and Hedy Fry, her Member of Parliament. Support any politicians who support our cause!

Jodie will be on the East Coast of the USA in February to attend and speak at the New Hampshire Liberty Forum which is running February 23 – 26.
